Project Description
This custom home renovation transformed the indoor-outdoor flow by adding a spacious screened porch and the largest deck we’ve ever built. To create a seamless connection, we reconfigured the living room and kitchen windows and doors. A new door replaced the kitchen bay window, and new windows were installed where the patio door previously stood, improving access and functionality.
The deck was constructed using Trex decking, a high-quality, durable material. Given the material’s fixed lengths of 12, 16, or 20 feet, we carefully designed the layout to minimize waste while ensuring a visually appealing finish.
A standout feature of this project is the porch ceiling, crafted from knotty pine hardwood and finished with a clear polyurethane coat. The result is a warm, inviting space that beautifully complements the home’s aesthetic while enhancing its outdoor living potential.
