Prince and Sons, Inc. has been a family owned and operated company since it was founded in 1995 by its President, Ben Prince. Prince & Sons, Inc. is a NC Licensed Residential and Commercial General Contracting Company and is a certified lead renovator, specializing in both residential and commercial renovations. Ben works alongside his two sons, David and Patrick. David, joined the company in 2011 upon his commencement from East Carolina University’s Construction Management program, while Patrick, followed in 2012 upon his commencement from North Carolina State University’s College of Design’s Landscape Architecture program. The group developed a new business plan that utilized each member’s strengths and promoted the company’s vision. Operating as diligently as possible and demanding quality workmanship & site cleanliness, the company has transitioned to a management-based home renovation company. The organization is not limited to but focuses on remodeling and renovation, as well as cabinet sales. Projects harness the trade skills of electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors, carpenters, flooring & tile installers as well as solid surface countertop suppliers. Prince & Sons has been an active member in the construction industry for 22 years, and has developed professional relationships with some of the area’s most prominent industry professionals and suppliers. Our organization is dedicated to analyzing what makes a company successful and identifying what principles an exceptional business should uphold.
Ben Prince
Ben Prince, a Durham native, attended Northern High School, and shortly thereafter earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations and Economics from The University of North Carolina in 1984. He spent his early adult years committed to the Durham Police Department before wielding a career out of his aptitude in leadership, management and contracting. He instilled ideals of honesty and hard work in his business, as well as his family. In 2013, Ben passed the N.C. General Contractor Licensing exam, making Prince & Sons, Inc. a Licensed Residential Contracting Company. Ben has 35 years of hands on technical experience that is the foundation of the company’s success and reputation.
David Prince
In 2011, David Prince graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business. After helping Ben part-time as he pursued his degree, David decided to join full-time in his father’s endeavors in growing Prince & Sons, Inc. David is also a qualifier for The N.C. Commercial Builder’s License. David is a project manager and oversees the company’s scheduling, estimating, and quality control as well as developing analysis and evaluation processes that allow the company to perpetually improve efficiency and accuracy.
Patrick Prince
Patrick Prince received his degree from North Carolina State University in Landscape Architecture in 2012. He is Prince & Sons’ account manager, draftsman and cabinet salesperson. His responsibilities include consulting with clients and creating working drawings for permits, field applications, as well as kitchen layouts for clients and installers.
Isac Dominguez
We hired Isac Dominguez in the Spring of 2021 as a punch man and trim carpenter. He has quickly adjusted to how we operate and is already a key part of our success here at Prince & Sons. Isac is a fast learner and is already well on his way to becoming a project manager. Outside of work Isac likes camping, hiking, traveling, grilling and of course woodworking!
