Project Description
This home renovation tied a safer stairway and a refreshed kitchen into one project. The stairway kept the same number of steps, but has deeper treads and a new landing, making the climb easier within a tight footprint.
In the kitchen, we replaced the tile and floors, enclosed the refrigerator, and fitted new doors and drawers to all of the existing cabinets. Keeping the existing cabinets helped the client save money compared to replacing all of the cabinets. We also were able to keep the existing countertops. Finally, we added a dedicated door that now closes off the former dining room, turning it into a dedicated office.
