Project Description
This project was a conversion of an unfinished 3rd floor attic into a game room with a kitchenette, a full bathroom, and bedroom. At first glance you would not see the challenge that our team was presented with but if you were to ask our trade contractors, you would quickly learn this was no simple feat. Running utilities to and from the third floor was very difficult and finding the right way down took skill and luck! Running plumbing drain lines from the bathroom and kitchenette required careful investigation of second and first floor wall cavities, cutting into the ceiling of the garage and dropping down into the crawlspace to tie into the main sewer lines. Not only was plumbing a challenge but both the electrician and HVAC contractors had their work cut out for them as well. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, we were able to make this conversion project a dream come true. With beautiful panted cabinets, granite and marble countertops, a new full bathroom w/ walk-in shower, ceiling heaters, surround sound audio, bamboo floors and two flush mount ceiling mini-split units, this third floor game room is the cherry on top of one great home.
