Project Description
This addition near Parkwood was built so the house would be easier to get around. We added a new concrete driveway and a new entry, and the new rooms sit on one level.
Inside, we built a large accessible bathroom with a curbless shower, handheld fixtures, and enough space to turn a wheelchair. The vanity is set up so you can roll under the sink, and the light switches work with just a touch. We also rebuilt the laundry as part of the same plan and added extra cabinet storage for the kitchen. The new rooms have their own heating and cooling.
