Prince & Sons, Inc. Opens New Office in Durham

We’ve been keeping this announcement under wraps for quite a while, but are pleased to announce that we’ve recently renovated and relocated our offices to a more central location in Durham. Our previous location, while a good fit for the past few years, was an accessibility nightmare and was in need of updates. Our new office in Durham offers a variety of options such as a comfortable studio space, dedicated meeting room, and a more open concept that is more conducive to creative thinking. We hope you’ll stop by our new office soon to take a look at our work.

Dedicated Meeting Space for Clients

One of the things that we’re most excited about in our new office space is our dedicated meeting area for clients. This will allow us to showcase some of our designs to our clients in a warm and comfortable environment. Our meeting space features a large flat screen TV and computer connections to ensure that we can easily showcase our wide array of general contracting services.

Comfortable Studio Space for Employees and Colleagues

Our previous location had limited space for our own employees to work, much less to meet with associates about ongoing projects. With this office renovation, we separated our meeting space from our studio space to give us a dedicated area to collaborate with employees as well as other colleagues.

Chance to Flex Our Creative Muscle On Our Own Project

Often we’re putting our creativity to work for our wonderful customers. With our Durham office remodel, we were able to finally put some of this creative energy to work to create a office environment that we are proud of.

Before purchasing this office space, it was in dire need of attention. We performed a variety of creative upgrades to give it a more open and industrial feel, which included:

• Removed the drop ceilings in the studio and office to open up the rooms
• Removed the original carpet and installed vinyl plank floors
• Installed all new trim and cabinets
• Installed a pocket door and a set of barn doors
• Installed two ship-lap accent walls, as well as one corrugated metal accent wall
• Installed LED lighting and built two conference tables out of repurposed wood and 3/4″ industrial black pipe that was purchased from Reuse Warehouse
• Custom made desks were installed to fit the style of the studio space and create symmetry and uniformity

With several other projects going on simultaneously, we were able to complete this project in just 5 weeks, which we look at as a success!
